Who we are
We are Weiss Pharmatechnik GmbH – a qualified supplier of sophisticated systems for containment as well as pharmaceutical climate and stability testing systems. We are a subsidiary of Weiss Klimatechnik and thus part of the Schunk Group, a globally active technology group founded in 1913. With Schunk, we aspire to be a technology leader and act responsibly for people and the environment.
Where we come from
A young company with many years of experience? How can that be? Weiss Pharmatechnik GmbH was indeed founded in 2015. However, our roots go back much further. Our company was formed from the merger of GWE (Gesellschaft für Wasseraufbereitung und Energierückgewinnung) and BDK Luft- und Reinraumtechnik, both of which were founded around 1980. The resulting experience and tradition as well as the synergies from the merger are what make Weiss Pharmatechnik what it is today.
What we do
With a great deal of passion and commitment, we develop and build innovative systems for containment and climate testing according to the individual wishes of our customers. We are fully aware that we are responsible for the safety of those who work with our systems. It is about protecting the products that are processed at our safety workstations. And the products in life sciences sector are all about consumer health. This knowledge motivates us – day after day.

Our products are inherently sustainable. That’s because hardly anything is more environmentally friendly than something with a long service life. In addition to environmentally friendly action, we consider a forward-looking and fair business strategy to be one of the aspects of sustainability. We want to move into a long-term corporate future with satisfied, motivated employees and not only protect the environment but also actively preserve it. That’s what drives us.
